Letter to Target’s Management

Later, when I returned to work at the floor, I thought twice what happened to my baby and the situation of overstress at the workplace while my manager bullied me every time; I knew that my baby and his life was in danger and his healthy surpassed everything to protect him. In addition, my sickness was increasing, and I had issues to continue working at Target through the harmfully conditions. I thought not anyone will harm my baby, and I took the decision to request my medical leave absent permission to protect my baby and avoid any stress environment that was harming my health.
I submitted a letter to the Target’s Management explained a situation that they really knew it, and they covered it. This letter contained what happened in my workplace, the violations of Federal Laws against me, the discrimination and retaliation for my pregnancy condition, and informed them about the unsafe work conditions without any accommodations for a pregnant woman; I decided to protect my baby integrity and myself. I requested the protection under the Federal Law “Family Medical Leave Absent (FMLA)” unpaid because I did not have any insurance to cover me. Moreover, the letter was pointed to the Human Resources Manager and the Store Manager, and they did not care either.
